The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber and Launch Workplaces held a training session on sexual harassment in the workplace and what to know in today’s uncertain landscape. The session featured Human Resources expert Jody Friend from JLM HR Consulting and Merry Campbell, Co-Chair of the Labor & Employment Group at Shulman Rogers.
GAITHERSBURG, Md. – With examples like Harvey Weinstein, the #MeToo movement and Time’s Up, sexual assault has been in the headlines lately in many different ways.
Because of that, the Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce held a workshop to help business owners form their own policies when it comes to sexual harassment. At the session, employment lawyer Merry Campbell said many victims don’t come forward for fear of retaliation.
