GGCC Launches New Program for Its Members

Posted on:

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce (GGCC) is pleased to announce the launch of its Business Resource Council (BRC). The BRC is members helping members. It provides an opportunity for our members to meet one-on-one with fellow chamber members to help solve the problems keeping them up night.

“I’m very excited about this program. We have so much business expertise in the Chamber; it makes sense to tap into knowledge. Our Chamber members have always been very generous with the time and talent to help other Chamber members succeed. This program just makes it a lot easier and a lot more effective in matching those who have questions with those who can provide the answers. It’s a no-brainer,” said GGCC Executive Director Marilyn Balcombe.

The BRC will leverage the knowledge and expertise inherent in the membership to provide advice, guidance, and direction to fellow chamber members who might need help in running their business.

The concept is simple. The Council will be a standing committee of chamber members who have agreed to share their expertise on a given topic. Chamber members in need of advice on a given topic will contact the Business Resource Council. The Council will match problem with the expert and provide free, one-time service to address that problem.
