The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber (GGCC) has partnered with the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development (DED) and other local business organizations to promote the “Increase Your Business Strength: Join Your Local Chamber of Commerce” campaign.

This is a great partnership with the Department of Economic Development. It is in everyone’s best interest to have an engaged business community. Having the DED encourage businesses to join their local Chamber is a great way for the DED to support the local business groups and also help the individual businesses become more involved,” said Marilyn Balcombe, GGCC Executive Director.

A sign promoting the campaign was developed and are now being donned on County Ride-On busses. The DED has arranged for a press event, using one of the busses as a backdrop, to provide an official launch to the campaign and to garner publicity.  ALL MEDIA are invited to attend the press event on Tuesday, April 15 from 9:30 – 10:30 am at the Ride-On Bus Depot, 16624 Crabbs Branch Way. County Executive Isiah “Ike” Leggett will be in attendance.
