The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce (GGCC) inducted City of Gaithersburg City Manager Tony Tomasello into the GGCC Hall of Fame.

Tomasello was inducted at the Chamber’s Annual Celebration Dinner & Awards Ceremony by 2006 Hall of Famer Mary Ann Britton.

The purpose of the Hall of Fame Award is to recognize and honor a Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce member who demonstrates outstanding service, commitment and involvement in the Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber. With 17 years of service to the Board of Directors, his service to the organization embodies this award.

“The Hall of Fame is reserved for individuals or companies that have really done something extraordinary in supporting the business climate of the Gaithersburg-Germantown area. This is someone who has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Tony Tomasello perfectly fits that description. He has been a tremendous asset to the Chamber of Commerce and tremendous asset to the City of Gaithersburg,” said GGCC President Marilyn Balcombe

Tomasello has been the City’s designated representative to the GGCC Board for 17 years. We would sincerely like to thank Tomasello for his guidance, support and commitment to enhancing Gaithersburg’s reputation for excellence over the years.
