Gaithersburg/Germantown, MD – Friday, March 15 –

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce (GGCC) held a Business Networking After Five on March 13 at Asbury Methodist Village, one of Montgomery County’s leading retirement communities, offering apartments and villas, assisted living, and skilled nursing care. This was Asbury’s 8th year in a row sponsoring a Business Networking After Five.

Asbury is a great asset in our community. Not only do they provide a tremendous service, they are a major employer. Having an event at Asbury not only allows them to highlight their wonderful facility, it allows the Chamber to showcase our great members,” said Marilyn Balcombe, GGCC Executive Director.

The GGCC also began its newest feature – video success stories. The Chamber believes there is a success story behind every business and there are success stories that have stemmed from relationships made from being a member of the GGCC. In order to showcase the value of the Chamber, we are sharing our members’ success stories. During an event, one Chamber Member will be able to tell their story of how the chamber has worked for them and illustrate how it can work for others. That Chamber Member will share how the two member businesses began working together and the role the Chamber played in facilitating that relationship. The story will be videotaped and shared on the Chamber’s You Tube page.

The GGCC is active in providing business-to-business networking opportunities throughout the year: a collective voice in local, regional, and state legislative affairs, professional development opportunities and other services that enhance the business environment.

The GGCC is located at 910 Clopper Road, Suite 205N, Gaithersburg, MD. To learn more about the GGCC visit us at www.ggchamber.org.
